The series

The companion to What Happens When We Eat Soy — and the same idea taken to the big one: meat. A two-part animated series that asks what eating meat actually does, across three angles people rarely see joined up: your health, the ethics, and the planet.

What I did

I co-directed the series with animator Etia Van Hell and narrated both parts. The job was to take a heavy, contested subject and make it watchable — to land real evidence without lecturing, and to keep you there to the end with character, pace and humour.

The craft

Etia's animation gives it the energy; the script keeps it sharp. It's proof of the thing I care about most: storytelling that carries a serious argument as easily as it carries a joke.
